“India to play a vital role in drug research in the world”, this was stated in a press conference by Dr. A. K. Prof. R.R. Schmidt, from Germany, will be delivering Key note address in the inaugural function of the conference at 5.30 PM tomorrow which will be held in CDRI, Lucknow.
Dr. Saxena threw light on the objective of CTDDR giving the brief history of this conference which was for the first time organized in the year 2001 on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of CDRI, Lucknow. From then onwards this conference is organized every third year with the objective of spreading awareness about the latest and novel trends in drug research. Dr. Saxena further informed that a number of Pharma industries from India are also actively participating in this conference.
